Zev Kaufman DDS 

I have been in the dental field for over to 25 years. I have been helping countless patients to create the smile they have always wanted. I have seen fads and innovations come and go. The one constant is the human anatomy and people’s desire to look and feel better about themselves. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters to me is making my patients happy. I practice time-tested and proven dentistry, using the most advanced technology possible, keeping in mind that the technology exists to serve my patients and not just for technology’s sake.

I am a three-time graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, having completed my DDS degree, a postgraduate certificate in the specialty of prosthodontics and a postgraduate certificate and fellowship in implant dentistry. To this day, I am still affiliated with the department of periodontics and implant dentistry. I have been teaching the Advanced Implant Restorative Seminars course consistently since 1999, passing on the knowledge which I was fortunate enough to acquire during my quarter-century in the profession.

You might say that I was always destined to be a dentist. My father was a dentist back in the former Soviet Union and when we moved to Israel in 1973, he built a great practice in Haifa, only to uproot the family and move to the United States in 1984. My father was the “personal dentist,” whose patients not only trusted him to deliver excellent work but to educate them and make proper decisions in their ongoing oral health care. Today, I aim to emulate that same level of trust and care.

I have been working with Dr. Zev Kaufman for over three years now. This was my first job as a dental hygienist, and I could not have asked for a better practice to be a part of. I would consider myself lucky to work with Dr. Kaufman. We are a close-knit practice and take pride in having the opportunity to treat each patient as family. We built a rapport with patients, making sure each patient is excited and happy to be in our office. I feel lucky that I wake up every morning and look forward to coming into work. Prior to joining the team, I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Hunter College. I then moved on to New York University, where I graduated with honors from the college of dentistry’s dental hygiene program.

I strongly believe that the services we provide our patients is the best. The number one reason for that, is that we listen to what the patients want and work with them to understand their dental needs. My goal is to make the patient happy and walk away feeling as though they received the best treatment under my care. I maintain the work that Dr. Kaufman created for the patients and in doing so, I make them feel comfortable and provide the best dental experience they will ever get, contributing to the longevity of the time and money they put into their dental work. At the end of the day I can feel confident in knowing that I contributed even in a small part to someone’s comfort, happiness, oral and general health.
